Auto Cad Drafter (Production Team)
(Las Cruces, New Mexico)
We are currently accepting resumes for a position within our Production Team in our New Mexico office.
The CAD Technician must have a solid knowledge of AutoCAD and a firm understanding of the Construction Documentation Process. The hours for this position are 9:00am - 6:00pm with a 1-hour lunch and two breaks.
The position requires 40 hours per week with some overtime if needed to complete deadlines. This individual shall be organized and able to handle a wide variety of tasks and be able to work under pressure, quick project changes, be able to take notes and learn from each project and have a "Can Do" and positive attitude always.
Education / Experience:
Architecture School, Associates Degree or Drafting Certificate or 1 year working in a related field. We would also like to see examples of work related to either 3D modeling/rendering, art/graphic design, or drafting if any area available.
Essential Job Functions:
In a small firm such as ours, everyone has to be able to do a little bit of everything, but below are the main areas of opportunity:
•3D modeling and rendering in sketchup
•Cost Estimating in both autocad and sketchup
•Drafting in autocad and sketchup
•Exhibits created in either photoshop/illustrator, autocad, or layout
•Design assistance and concept development (hand sketches, autocad, sketchup)
•Miscellaneous tasks and opportunities may include: Site Visits, •Construction Observation, Design Workshops, Attending Events, Research and Development.

Design Tech / 3D Modeling / Graphics Design (San Diego / Vista, California)
We are currently accepting resumes for an Design Techs in our California office. It is essential that you have, at the very least, a rudimentary understanding of, and general interest in, Skateboarding. We deal exclusively with skate park design and construction, and without some knowledge of the terminology and culture, it is simply not going to work.
We are a small, tight knit, group responsible for designing, engineering, and creating construction documents for municipal and private skate park projects worldwide, and we are considering to add someone full-time (40hrs) to be a part of our team.
Education:
Preferably a background in Landscape/Architecture, Engineering, or Graphic Design.
Experience:
No specific amount of experience is required, although experience in the above fields is a plus. We would also like to see examples of work related to either 3D modeling/rendering, art/graphic design, or drafting.

The above four categories required are the pillars of what we are looking for, with a knowledge of skateboarding being the overlying prerequisite. Ideally we are looking for someone that is at least somewhat proficient in three out of four of the above categories.
