Lake Forest - Etnies Skate Park of Lake Forest
With the expansion completed, the Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest is now at 57,000 square feet total – one of the largest and most complete skateparks in the nation. This facility has been designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
First phase of 38,000 Square feet is a concrete, outdoor facility featuring a massive street course, two bowls, an elbowed vert wall plus other unique design features.
Second phase of nearly 19,000-square-foot expansion features famous skating spots including San Francisco's Pier 7 Block off the Embarcadero, where many skate videos have been shot. There's also a back yard-style pool modeled after one in Riverside popular with skaters in the 1970s. A 16-foot-high by 8-foot-wide cradle is the expansion's centerpiece feature that is nested within a brand new flow course.
Safety equipment will be required to be worn by the skaters and the park will be supervised during all hours of operation. The Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest is a public/private partnership between the City and interested businesses and individuals.
