Chandler Bike Park at Espee Park
This 28,000 sq. ft. facility gives the youths of Chandler and other Arizona communities an alternative riding place to business districts, school grounds, canal banks, dirt lots and other unconventional locations. This project was developed with considerations for safety, to be economically feasible, and to not adversely impact any nearby residents. The design is the result of many months of work among City staff, architects and a focus group comprised of Chandler residents, plus design and amenity suggestions offered at previous public meetings. The Chandler Bike Park now complements the existing skate park nearby and allows both the skateboarders and BMX riders their own individual place to ride.
